our garden city heroes on the challenge

Made possible thanks to the Christchurch City Council, the Wednesday Challenge encourages students and teachers to bus, bike, walk, run, scooter or mode share their way to school. It’s our way of reducing road congestion and carbon emissions, reducing school gate congestion and encouraging better health and well-being.
Let’s see what we can achieve this year as the Wednesday Challenge in schools, supported by Mercury, changes the way we travel to school.
