1. Promotion period
Ride to Win runs from 1 October to 31 October 2026. Only eligible journeys made and logged during the promotion period will qualify for prize draws.
2. Who can enter
The promotion is open to people participating in Ride to Win in the Waikato region who are registered with the Weekday Challenge. Entrants must provide valid contact details so they can be contacted if they win.
3. How to enter
To enter, participants must register for the Weekday Challenge and log eligible public transport journeys made during the promotion period.
Each eligible bus or train journey logged during October counts as one entry into the individual Ride to Win prize draws. The more eligible journeys you make and log, the more entries you receive.
Journeys must be genuine journeys undertaken by the participant. The Weekday Challenge reserves the right to verify entries and exclude duplicate, inaccurate, incomplete or fraudulent journey records.
4. Prizes
Prizes include:
- 50 × $100 Bee Cards
- 1 × Chiefs Rugby Experience comprising a Captain's Run experience and game tickets for four people
- Waikato Workplace Team Prize: $1,000 of public transport for staff plus three months' membership of the Extraordinary platform
- 2 × workplace morning tea shouts
Prize conditions may apply and prizes are subject to availability. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Where circumstances outside the promoter's control make an advertised prize unavailable, the promoter may substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value.
5. Workplace prizes
To qualify for a workplace prize, participants must be registered as part of an eligible Waikato workplace team and have logged eligible public transport journeys during the promotion period.
6. Selecting and contacting winners
Winners will be selected at random from eligible entries following the end of the promotion period and contacted using the details associated with their Weekday Challenge registration.
If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within five working days, the promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
7. Prize conditions
Any additional costs associated with accepting or using a prize that are not specifically included in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner.
The Chiefs Rugby Experience is subject to the dates, availability and any conditions stipulated by the prize provider.
8. General
The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who has not complied with these terms or who has attempted to manipulate the promotion.
If circumstances outside the promoter's reasonable control prevent the promotion from operating as intended, the promoter may modify, suspend or cancel the promotion.
Decisions made by the promoter in relation to eligibility, entries and prize allocation are final.
9. Privacy
Personal information collected through the Weekday Challenge will be used to administer the promotion and contact winners and will be handled in accordance with the Weekday Challenge Privacy Policy.
